I had my 13 week appointment today (two days early). It was pretty uneventful. I still haven't gained any weight. My doctor doesn't seem worried about it so therefore, I'm not going to worry about it. ;o) I'm definitely not complaining, as I know its bound to catch up to me one of these days.
Gavin came with me to the appointment and he was such a good boy. Dr. H loved his Chicago Bears jacket, since he went to school in Chicago. We learned he was a Bears fan Gavin when Gavin was born so I made sure to have him wear his Bears jacket today. He commented on how good natured Gavin was and asked him if that's how I got suckered into this again. LOL! My doctor is the best. No nonsense, no fuss...if he doesn't see anything that concerns him, he doesn't bring it up which I love. My appointment was literally like 10 minutes. Love that about him.
The exciting part - we got to hear both the heart beats! I had forgotten how awesome it is to hear that little dishwasher sound. Just the proof I needed to know that there really are two babies alive and well inside of me. That is one downside to never being sick. You don't feel pregnant and I always worry that something has or will happen and I won't know it (although I know that it totally unrealistic). We find out what we're having in about a month so we're excited for that. Please send BOY & GIRL vibes our way. We are really hoping for one of each. :o)
