So, as nervous as I was to break the news it has been really fun seeing everyones reactions. Nearly all of them contain the exact phrase that came out of my own mouth..."Are you serious?", which is usually preceeded by "Oh my gosh!"
So far my favorite was when I texted my oldest brother. His reply was "BS". HAHAHA! My next favorite was when I IM'd Nicole. Her response was, "Holy SHIT!" And another favorite came from my friend Angie..."SHUT-UP!!!! Are you for real?!". LOL!
It's just really fun to see everyones surprise, because it's still how I feel about the whole thing. The shock has worn off a little and I'm really excited to welcome these babies into our family. There are millions of things I'm nervous and scared about, but I'm trying to stick with the positive because I know that when Gavin was born, it was the BEST experience EVER. Despite all the bills, pain, etc...it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced and I know that two babies will be just as wonderful, if not better.
Anyway, I'm off to try and get some work done today. I'm still sick (ugh - I'm beginning to think it will never end) so I need to try and crank some work out since I'm in slow motion with this head cold. Fun, fun!
