The Results are In...

Thankfully, the babies cooperated for us today so we were able to learn the sex of each of them but before I spill the big news I thought I would torture you & share some of the ultrasound pictures for those of you that would like to try and interpret them (not the easiest with twins - lol).

Baby B (on the top, I think)

Baby A (on the bottom)

More of Baby A (the only one that would hold still)

Baby A & B (B on top - you can see the belly and part of the spine. Baby A is on bottom. All I can make out is the head)

Cute toes!

Everything looked perfect! They both have 4 heart chambers and their kidneys and stomachs looked good. Baby B is measuring 17 weeks and Baby A is 17 weeks 1 day so they are growing at the same rate which is great news. They are laying kind of diagonally across my stomach rather than vertically (in the last U/S pic you can see the membrane separating them). I'm not sure what that means for a vaginal birth - Angelique do you know if that changes through the pregnancy? I'm totally clueless when it comes to twins. The doctor also thinks there is a chance that they are identical. It looks like they share a placenta, but it could be that two placentas have fused together so we won't know officially until they are born.

So, I'm sure you're all dying to know what they are huh? We are having........................................

TWO BOYS!!
