First off, I have to thank everyone for all the sweet comments on our two little guys. We are beyond excited! Just knowing what they are makes this pregnancy finally feel real to me and I love knowing that I finally know what to shop for (even though I haven't bought a single thing yet). When I really think about all that we have to buy, it makes my head spin so I have been hesitant to even look yet.
The one thing we have been doing is discussing names, which is really really hard! We had no problem naming Gavin but this go around is a whole other story. Let's just say we were fully prepared for girls names and didn't have a single boy name that we loved so the hunt is on and I need your help! The two front runners are the moment are:
- Cooper Reed (after my dad & Matt's grandpa)
- Jordan Tyler (Matt's mom's maiden name)
Another favorite is Boston, although I fear he will grow up being called "Boss" his whole life which bugs me.
We are pretty sold on Cooper, but we're not 100% sold on Jordan. I'm super picky about names and they have to meet the following criteria so if you can think of any great names that fit the following, send them my way...
Name Criteria:
1. It can't be a name that can be shortened to another name. i.e., Matthew is Matt, Nicholas is Nick, etc...
2. It has to have two syllables. One syllable names sound dumb with our one syllable last name.
3. I don't want anything too matchy.
4. Has to sound good with Gavin.
5. They can't be any of the following: Tyson, Brock, Braden, Easton, Carter or Kaden (names of family & close friends)
So, there you have it! Send me your name ideas because we are definitely going to need them!
p.s. Nicole you always have good names so don't hold out on me! LOL! :o)
