I need to post another belly picture one of these days. I am getting SO big! I feel like I can't stretch any more, but overall I think I look decent for being pregnant with twins. I'm carrying more in my belly this time around, where as with Gavin I carried everywhere! My face was huge, as was my butt, arms & legs. So far I have only gained around 17 pounds, so I can't complain about that.
Last night, we went to Babies-R-Us and stocked up on some baby gear. I had originally wanted this bedding, but soon after I picked it out, it became unavailable to purchase online (and none of my local stores carry it).
It actually worked out that they didn't have it because I really didn't want to spend $130.00 for each bedding set. With all the other gear we have to buy, I decided to keep looking and I found this set for MUCH cheaper. Normally I wouldn't give it a second glance, as I'm not into really babyish stuff but since these might be my LAST babies, I thought it would be fun to have an actually baby nursery, rather than a room with adult colors, etc. I'm excited to find some stuffed animals to match & do some animal paintings for the walls.
The other thing we picked up was a carseat. We already have a Graco Safe Seat that we used with Gavin, but they don't have the same print pattern anymore, so we just went with something neutral.
Other gear we have:
*(2) new Jungle bouncer seats
*(2) Hotsling's (although I had to take one back because it was too small and I'm still waiting on Target to get more in.
*(2) Jungle playmats
Other stuff we need:
*(1) crib mattress
*(1) Pack-N-Play
*(1) Stroller, but I'm waiting until the babies are here because I can't decide which one I want.
*LOTS of clothes. They will most likely be small so newborn & 0-3 month sizes will probably fit them for a while. I have quite a bit of stuff from Gavin, but not nearly enough for two babies. My problem is they will be born in-between seasons (summer & fall), so I think I'm going to stock up on sleepers since they work with either season & are comfy. 3-6 months clothing is a whole other story, as Gavin was in summer clothes at that time.
*Diapers
I think that's all for the big stuff. Any other suggestions?

ReplyDeleteI am glad your pregnancy is doing well. I wish mine was a little less eventful. I guess I can't complain because here I am at 29 weeks with babies still inside. Once we get into the 30's I think we will be doing a lot better.
We just got that same car seat. We are also getting the double stroller that goes with it. My sister has the same one in a different fabric and loves it.

have you checked out craigslist for clothes? you can find some nice clothes for great prices!!
